March showers bring...

March showers bring April flowers??????  Wouldn't that be loverly????

Looking through my photos from Hong Kong I found this one that, in so many ways, represents the new Chinese reality.

For my buddy who doesn't like the intensification of downtown Toronto. This is Hong Kong where I hear the average floor space of an apartment is around 600 sq. feet. Everything is 85 stories or higher, which is amazing because they still use bamboo scafforling to build them.

Another one of those wet foggy winter days we've come to know.

A star is born!

Finally, some fog on our last day.

After watching the 2 ferries go back and forth to Bell Island every 20 minutes, we finally decided to go check out what was over there. In particular, I was interested in the cliffs at the far end of the island.

Other than the beach and landing area for the ferry, everything else is on top of the plateau.

There is no easy way to describe the height of these cliffs when you're standing ten feet from the edge. I threw a rock out from where Lasha and Tim are standing and I couldn't see it hit the water.
